KitAid is a volunteer-run charity redistributing donated football kit and equipment to communities worldwide. Since 1998, over 1.25 million items have supported access to sport across Africa, South America, Asia and Eastern Europe

KitAid was founded in 1998 by Derrick Williams MBE after a trip to Tanzania highlighted the need for football kit and equipment. Following positive feedback from the first donation, the charity was established to redistribute kit to communities worldwide.
Entirely volunteer-run, KitAid receives no grants and is supported across the football pyramid, from grassroots clubs to the professional game

KitAid collects donated football kit, boots and training equipment and redistributes it to communities where access to sport is limited.
Donations are provided by clubs, organisations and individuals, with equipment given a new life supporting participation across multiple regions
